The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, the world’s first museum dedicated to the living heritage of rock and roll music, is offering unique and exciting internship opportunities to college students in the following departments:

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony returns to Cleveland on April 14, 2012. Here is your chance to be a part of it. Each internship offers a unique look at the operational side of the Museum and its programs. Please visit http://rockhall.com/internships to read more detailed descriptions of the positions. Internship responsibilities may vary each semester due to current projects and programs at the Museum. Application Procedures Please complete the following steps to apply for an internship with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum: 1. Prepare a cover letter and resume. 2. Include a letter of reference/recommendation from a professor in your field.* 3. Personal Statement – prepare a one-page summary describing what you hope to bring to the internship and what you hope to gain during the internship. * the letter of recommendation may be sent separately from the rest of the application materials if necessary Application Deadlines Spring (January – May) Deadline January 6, 2012 (extended until positions filled) Summer (May – August) Deadline March 30, 2012 Fall (August – December) Deadline August 3, 2012

  • Deadline for Legal and Library and Archives internships may vary. Please refer to http://rockhall.com/internships for more information. Email is the preferred method of application. An intern must currently be enrolled in a college or graduate school program, preferably sophomore – senior status. Internships are done on a volunteer basis. The Museum does not offer compensation. Availability to work 16 or more hours a week, up to 40 hours a week during the summer.
