The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks an intern for our Public Relations Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Essential Job Functions:
This person will primarily assist with the news gathering process, monitor social media, and perform background research for the Public Relations department. He/she will also potentially draft press releases and communications plans for the department. He/she will assist with media events as necessary.
Job Requirements:
Strong writing and research skills necessary.
Knowledge of social media practices necessary.
Some experience as a public relations intern preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ideally, the candidate will be a huge consumer of both traditional and digital media.
Education and Experience:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) program, or a graduating senior in May 2010
