Qualifications: In order to facilitate the learning experience, the following qualifications are preferred. Candidate should be seeking a career in print, broadcast, or online journalism. Should be self-motivated, able to multi-task, have a good attitude, and be able to function well in an environment with short deadlines and quick turnaround projects. Experience in digital video production is preferred.

Duties: Turner’s Students @ Work Internships are paid at minimum-wage and structured to last approximately 12 weeks. Program dates are June 4th through August 10th 2012. Resume and Cover Letter with 3-5 links of digital content created by the candidate are required. Students should have a strong academic record (3.0 strongly preferred). Students must have completed their sophomore year in college prior to the start of the internship. In addition, students may not have graduated college or graduate school prior to the start of the internship (i.e. STUDENTS MUST BE ENROLLED IN SCHOOL DURING THE TIME OF THIS INTERNSHIP). Students seeking college credit are strongly encouraged to apply. Note to International Students: All international students will be required to provide documentation of proper visa paperwork prior to your arrival if accepted to the program. Due to the high volume of candidates for Turner’s Internship Program, interested students are encouraged to apply for openings as soon as possible, as these positions will be filled on an ongoing basis. Our intern will work alongside CNNMoney’s tech reporters on daily news coverage, assisting reporters with their research on both breaking stories and longer-term projects. The intern will have frequent opportunities to write bylined stories for CNNMoney’s website on daily news events, including new product launches, industry mergers, corporate earnings and other tech industry events. You’ll have the opportunity to gain insight into the editorial process, cover press conferences, and attend CNNMoney’s daily editorial planning meetings. While the internship will be focused on tech beat, the intern will also have the opportunity to observe and learn about the editorial workflow on CNNMoney’s other beat teams, including video, general assignment news and markets.
