Ketchum Sports & Entertainment is looking for a summer intern to work in the sports group in their New York office.

Responsibilities :
Developing and maintaining media lists Monitoring and tracking media Organizing clips/media coverage Writing media updates Preparing fact sheets and backgrounders Being flexible and engage in teamwork within the team Preparing pitch letters and pitch media Assisting in the development of press releases Attending client meetings Writing client and/or team memos Assisting with research for new business opportunities and client presentations Assisting with event coordination Attending team meetings

Qualifications :
Qualified candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a passionate interest in/understanding of public relations, a B average or better, the flexibility to work on a variety of projects, and a basic understanding of the field of public relations, either through course work or previous internship experiences.
