Mercury Z – Marketing Communications Intern (Paid) Gain valuable experience working with an innovator in the technology and business solution field. As the Marketing Communications Intern, you will have an opportunity to apply your education, learn from experienced marketers, and build a skill set for the future. In this position you will work with our Marketing Communications Specialist to produce a variety of marketing materials and other written communications for Mercury Z and its clients. The successful Marketing Communications Intern is creative, hard working, and capable of writing and editing high-quality marketing collateral for print and web as well as collaborating on internal documents and presentations. Additionally, the Marketing Communications Intern may aid in document design and graphic presentation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Write and edit a variety of key marketing collateral pieces
  • Support Mercury Z’s overall marketing effort; collaborate on internal and external communications, correspondences, and presentations
  • Gain knowledge of the solutions and technology offered by Mercury Z and its clients
  • Understand how to reinforce the Mercury Z brand strategy in all written materials
  • Contribute ideas to various marketing projects
  • Limited administrative support

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or English; or upper-level progress toward a Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • Keen editorial eye
  • High level of computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional time-management skills; ability to work independently

Preferred qualifications:

  • Creative writing experience
  • General marketing knowledge is a big plus
  • Some technology background or the ability to quickly learn about our wide range of technology-based solutions

This internship pays $10/hr. for a term of three months with the possibility of permanent, full-time employment after the initial three-month term. We would prefer an intern who is available on a full-time basis, however we are open and willing to accommodate class scheduling for the right candidate. Please submit
