Internship – espnW
Support the espnW content team, as we continue to develop the espnW business across platforms. Work will be varied. Depending on business needs and skill sets, project priorities will vary.

Responsibilities
Support the espnW content team, as we continue to develop the espnW business across platforms. Work will be varied. Depending on business needs and skill sets, project priorities will vary. Examples of support may include: Assist editorial with written and on-air content to be showcased on espnW.com. Blog for espnW, including pieces driven by research and opinion. Provide creative editorial ideas with ability to execute projects to bring such ideas to fruition. Coordinate team meetings, agendas, and support materials. Support social media efforts through writing, feed maintenance, & creation of multimedia files. Attend various meetings and presentations as a part of the espnW team. Potential travel with the team to ESPN event(s) with the espnW team, supporting our event & content strategy execution.
Basic Qualifications
You must be currently matriculating within a degree program and in good academic standing; available for employment within 12 months of the internship. *Graduation date of August 2012, December 2012, or May 2013. *Intern must be able to provide his/her own transportation to and from work. (Note: there is no public transportation available in this area)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft products, especially Excel and PowerPoint Knowledge and interest in web products and social media Experience with blogs a plus Strong writing ability Experience with editing and uploading web content, such as digital video files and digital images Strong interest in female athletics, experience as an athlete a plus Strong interest & knowledge of major sports at large
