Qualifications: This person must be a full-time student at East Carolina University. He or she must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to operate basic office equipment such as personal computers, fax machines, copiers, and telephone systems. This student should be detail-oriented, an exceptional self-starter, able to work independently and prioritize, and possess an outstanding capacity for multi-tasking. Spanish speaking skills are a plus. This student must be available to work a flexible schedule including some nights and weekends as needed.
Function: Assist the Executive Director and Board of Director’s Fundraising Committee with critical marketing elements to support the organizational marketing strategy.

Hours: Part-time, evenings and weekends as needed
Reports To: Executive Director
Responsibilities Include: Document program activities and special events in action through video and still pictures. Collect content such as testimonials by interviewing volunteers and learners to use on website and other program materials. Shoot and edit video for donors, presentations, and website. Distribute information via social media. Find new ways to better utilize organization’s website and social networking. Other duties and projects, as assigned.
