The goal of the WKBW-DT/TV News Internship program is to give students the opportunity to observe all aspects of what it takes to get News covered…to get those newscasts on the air…and to work under deadline pressure. Intern responsibilities include answering phones, doing research, logging feeds, accompanying crews out in the field, and helping to develop story ideas. Students will work closely with Producers, Reporters, and Photojournalists. The best interns will leave WKBW-DT/TV with a good working knowledge of what goes on in a newsroom.
