This position is responsible for developing and executing consumer & trade publicity campaigns for live television events, studio television programs, and overall department outreach both within the company and externally under the supervision of the Vice President. Also responsible for talent relations (athletes and on air talent), VIP relations, event on-site PR logistics, television production logistics and website editing/updating.

Principal Responsibilities:
a. Coordinate creation (writing, editing) and dissemination of primary publicity elements (news releases, bios, photography, video assets) b. Act as liaison between SEP marketing/SHO production and on-air talent and athletes, managers, event promoters, organizers, etc. 1) Execute weekly publicity campaign for INSIDE THE NFL, and periodic campaigns for sports documentaries 2) Develop and cultivate relationships with new media sources, key reporters, producers and columnists, including developing new relationships with leading online news, sports and pop culture outlets. c. Fulfill press requests including arrange interviews, pitch story ideas and acquire publicity placement. d. Coordinate event logistics: staff and vendor logistics at public events and press conferences. e. Write, edit and disseminate inter-departmental communications (event announcement, messaging details, etc.) Required Skills/Experience Prefer minimum of four years of college experience with degree in Communications, English or related discipline. Prefer three-five years of experience in public relations, communications or sports /internship and/or employment. a. Excellent writing skills b. Excellent oral communications skills c. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented department d. Ability to adapt to changing situations & environments (i.e. last minute changes to live television show, event logistics, fight card; business travel both nationally and internationally) e. Creativity – identify unique and newsworthy situations indigenous to each event/athlete. f. Prioritization – ability to work on multiple tasks for multiple events simultaneously Preferred Skills/Experience Prefer candidates that can speak Spanish. Minimum Education Level Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
