COMMUNICATIONS & SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN

Crown & Caliber, a portfolio company of the Atlanta-based private equity firm – Powell Growth Capital, LLC (“PGC”), is seeking a recent grad for a four month internships that could transition into a full-time position. Start Date: July 15, 2012.
Compensation: $1,000 per month. Any out-of-pocket expenses will be reimbursed. It is our hope to convert this internship into a full-time position on November 1, 2012.
Duties: Day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to, the following activities:
Social Media: Intern will be responsible for directing all social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and possibly others. This must be a consistent effort – and one which directs followers to the C&C site, when applicable. Each platform must be tended to and updated multiple times each day.
Content Development: Intern will be responsible for developing original watch-based content to the site. Such content will initially be centered on different watch models and will ultimately expand into other watch-based categories.
Sales Support: Intern will be responsible for supporting C&C’s head of sales. Such support will involve:
– Outbound Support: Construct all packaging materials, mail all packages, input customer data into software system.
– Inbound Support: Record the opening of all incoming packages, photograph the content of each package, post such photographs to various social media platforms, send payment request form to accounting.
Specific Requirements
· College degree – preferably in journalism.
· Excellent written communicator;
· Extremely resourceful – can complete ambiguous tasks;
· Familiar with Twitter and Facebook;
· Exceptional listening skills;
· Capable and motivated problem solver;
· Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
