Interactive/Digital Media Our digital media department produces, creates and maintains our websites and other digital platforms.
WQXR WQXR features the “best of the best” of the classical core, with a particular focus on live music from New York’s unparalleled cultural scene. Q2 has a more contemporary focus which features large-scale festival programming as well as live concerts from venues around New York
News Department WNYC News is among the most respected, featuring international, national and local live news coverage and data journalism.
On the Media On the Media lifts the veil from the process of “making media,” because it’s through that lens that we literally see the world and the world sees us.
Radio Rookies Radio Rookies provides teenagers with the tools and training to create radio stories about themselves, their communities and their world.
Soundcheck Covering all musical genres, Soundcheck celebrates the musical passions of performers, composers, and critics as well as the public radio audience.
Studio 360 Studio 360 is a smart and surprising guide to what’s happening in pop culture and the arts.
The Brian Lehrer Show The Brian Lehrer Show puts listeners directly in touch with news makers and gives them a chance to exchange opinions and ideas with call-in listeners.
The Leonard Lopate Show The Leonard Lopate Show allows listeners to hear live conversations with writers, actors, ex-presidents, dancers, scientists, comedians, historians, grammarians, curators, filmmakers, and do-it-yourself experts.
The Takeaway The Takeaway is a new multi-platform morning drive news program that is creating a new model for morning news and public broadcasting in the 21st century.
Radiolab Radiolab is a show about curiosity. Where sound illuminates ideas, and the boundaries blur between science, philosophy, and human experience.
Selected Shorts features great stage and screen actors reading short stories from masters of the form and today’s hottest new writers, performed live at Symphony Space in New York City and other venues nationwide.
Central Administration Centralized administrative includes departments such as Human Resources, Finance, IT, and Office Services.
Typical types of internships include one or more of the following: production assistant, producer, broadcast engineer, reporter, researcher, digital content/writer/blogger, social media and engagement…and more.
Qualifications:
Interested interns must be currently enrolled in college to participate in our internship program.
