CBS Television Stations currently consists of 28 stations, including 14 that are part of the CBS Television Network (plus 2 satellites) and 12 that are affiliated with The CW Network, MyNetworkTV, or operate as independents. We are located in 17 television markets in the United States, including several duopoly stations located within the same designated market area (DMA). Individually managed and staffed, our stations produce news and broadcast public affairs, sports, and other programming to serve our local markets and offer CBS, The CW, or MyNetworkTV programming and syndicated programming. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to experience how a major Broadcast News runs it’s Sales/Marketing Department. Will witness and take part in day to day activities.
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a full-time accredited college or university, and be an incoming Junior or Senior in the Fall.
- Must have excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Must have a strong interest in entertainment/cable television industry – Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Working with all Sales-relevant computer programs
- Creating/Updating relevant Sales reports
- Working with departments that have day-to-day interaction with Sales (Research, Marketing, Creative Services, CBS Spot Sales)
- Communication with Sales AE’s and Sales Management
- Direct report is Donna Fernandez
- Dotted line to Sales Management
- Cover administrative duties as necessary
