QVC has a FULL TIME, PAID internship opportunity for Fall 2012 in our fast-paced Talent Department. The Internship will start in September, and runs through mid/end December. Student must be avail. to work FULL-TIME Mon. –Fri. 9am-5pm.

The Intern will work side by side with Department Leaders, receiving hands-on experience and offer you an incredible education beyond the academic world.

To qualify, you must be currently enrolled in a college/university and be available to work FULL TIME HOURS (9am – 5pm Monday – Friday) for the Fall Semester 2012. This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in West Chester, PA.

The Intern:

• Is responsible for assisting the Talent Department with special projects, setting up demos in the Host Lounge, making trend posters, helping out in the Studio, delivering items to Studio, mailing communications to On Air Guests, etc.
• Assists with Guest Certification Class including helping support the classes, copying and mailing DVDs, updating Excel spreadsheets and assisting with Guest Auditions.
• Meets and communicates with Vendors and On Air Guests.
• Assists QVC’s Image and Model Dept. w/invoicing, product set-up and special projects.
• Performs administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• QVC will consider students who have completed at least 4 semesters in Marketing,
• Broadcasting, Business, Communications or PR.
• Must currently be enrolled in an accredited college or university at the Bachelor or Master’s level.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Powerpoint required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organization skills with specific attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Ability to work at an accelerated pace in a high volume environment.
