Summer Internship Application Deadline: Sept. 28
General Motors is looking for its next batch of communications interns for Summer 2013. Our internships are not “making copies and coffee” type of internships. GM Communications internships involve real work and generate real results for the company. GM interns have the opportunity to learn and hone skills in media relations, internal communications, speech writing, event planning and many other aspects of PR.
The minimal qualifications for our internships are:
- 3.0 or better GPA
- Junior or senior standing
- Must be an active student (i.e. can not have graduated before start of internship)
- One or more previous PR or journalism-related internship(s)

Members of our recruiting team will be interviewing candidates in person at the PRSSA 2013 National Conference in San Francisco in October, but they will also conduct a select number of phone interviews for those students not attending the conference.
