Are you ready for a hands-on newsroom experience? The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is offering paid 10-week internships for the summer of 2013. We’re looking for upper-level college students interested in pursuing a career as a reporter, database specialist or interactive producer. Our interns are treated as full-time professional journalists.
 
Reporting Qualifications: Must be a rising junior, senior or graduate student. We also accept applications from those who have graduated within six months of the start of the summer internship. Daily deadline experience preferred. Must have worked on the campus newspaper or website.
 
Additional Database Specialist or Interactive Producer Qualifications (not required for reporting internship candidates): Must have solid web programming skills, including demonstrated experience with HTML5, CSS3, XML, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax. And, a knack for making clean, clear, creative interactive graphics. Include link to online portfolio.
