The Opportunity This winter/spring the Alzheimer’s Association (Raleigh, NC office) is seeking to hire intern candidate for the opportunity to learn, experience, work and contribute to the Association’s mission of creating a world without Alzheimer’s disease. In doing so, intern will gain experience in physician outreach program, building community relationships; communications; advocacy initiatives.
This is a part time, unpaid internship. Candidate must be able to complete the internship in exchange for school credit. Internship location: 3739 National Drive, Cumberland Building, Suite 110, Raleigh, NC 27612
Minimum Requirements
Student must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university in the fields of marketing, public relations, journalism and/or nonprofit management. Proficient with Internet and Microsoft Office. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must enjoy working as part of team and be a self-starter eager to contribute individual results. Must be highly motivated, well-organized with excellent interpersonal skills. Must have a car and valid driver’s license (will be reimbursed for travel expenses).
