JOURNALISM INTERNS

Institute for Humane Studies

The Institute for Humane Studies is now accepting applications for our paid summer journalism internships open to students and recent graduates with strong communication skills and an interest in the foundations of a free society.

Interns work for eight weeks at newspapers, radio stations, new media companies, and investigative newsrooms. The experience hones interns’ writing and critical thinking skills, and translates into a professional network and portfolio—key assets for securing a fulltime journalism job.

Program Highlights:

  • On-the-job training
  • Individual career advice from the program director, a former journalist
  • Stipend, travel allowance, and housing assistance
  • Opportunities to network with fellow liberty-minded journalists

If you are looking for opportunities for next semester, we are still accepting applications for paid spring placements as well.
