The Times Free Press offers paid, full-time, six-month internships in reporting, photography and copy editing starting each year in January and July.
Our internships are awarded based on merit. Considerations include previous internships, campus newspaper experience and quality of work samples. In addition to writing skills, it is preferable , but not required that reporting candidates demonstrate photography, videography and social media skills.
July internships are awarded in April and January internships are awarded in September.
The paper also offers summer internships to current college students for academic credit. A college advisor must sign off on the student receiving credit for these unpaid internships.
