Camp Ozark is a Christian Sports and Adventure summer camp located in the Ouachita Mountains of Arkansas. Our media department hires up to 15 college-aged photographers and videographers each summer. Summer media staff receive training, supervision and hands-on experience as they assist Camp Ozark in the production of a wide variety of media projects. As members of the Camp Ozark Summer Staff, media staff are paid a salary, including food and lodging. All necessary media equipment and supplies are provided.
Camp Ozark is looking for:
· Talented photographers and videographers who would enjoy and be successful working in a high-energy, kid-oriented Christian environment.
· Applicants who have a strong work ethic and well-developed interpersonal skills.
· Applicants who possess a solid skill set in either photography or videography (previous work experience is not required). Some specific skills that would be advantageous might include:
o Photographers: Experience using DSLR cameras; experience using Photoshop or similar photo editing program; training or education in regards to basic photographic concepts such as aperture, shutter speed and ISO settings.
o Videographers: Experience shooting with video cameras and/or DSLR cameras for video; experience using Final Cut Pro or similar video editing program; training or education in regards to video work flow and post-production.
