The Marketing department of ASO Presents, a division of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, handles all efforts related to promoting, advertising and publicizing the various concerts and events at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park and Delta Classic Chastain Park Amphitheater.
 
The intern will assist with a variety of marketing activities and projects. Duties will include independent projects such as researching artist appeal, airplay, market history and other pertinent artist related news, preparing content for social media posts, conducting grass roots and retail promotions, assisting with pre and post show day preparations as well as general administrative support. Candidates should be pursuing a college degree in marketing, communications, music, or a related field.  S/he should also have demonstrable writing abilities, and be highly organized, enthusiastic, computer-proficient, and comfortable with new challenges and deadlines.
 
Internships are unpaid, but have flexible hours (20-25 per week) and may be tailored to fit academic needs.
 
The offices of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra are located in the Memorial Arts Building at the Woodruff Arts Center.
