Living Full Out Inc. is looking for two interns to assist with the production and sales aspects of the “Living Full Out With Nancy Solari” radio show on KABC.
Tasks for this internship may include: Production. Assisting with the scheduling of sponsor’s during the show. This position may include working directly with Nancy Solari and executives at KABC to monitor and organize the timing of the show with regard to the clock of the show. This is a hands-on internship and may involve going to KABC to meet with potential sponsors and production teams. With regards to producing the show you will gain experience in writing as well as producing the show.
Sales: In the radio industry there is an art to how to bring new sponsors in as a part of a show. The Living full out radio show is a call-in radio show so we select sponsors that will have a direct positive impact to the challenges that the callers are dealing with. You will learn how to speak to c-level executives at companies as well as how to negotiate a contract and be able to work creatively in assisting with packaging the right benefits for specific sponsors. Most programming does requiring sponsors so learning this skill will help you long term.
For both of these positions you will need to learn to use our CRM database called Zoho, where we manage and take notes on sponsors as well as guest that we have for the show. In this internship you will also learn various marketing tools involving social networking as well as traditional networking.
Skills should include: Ability to work independently and with a team, effective organizational skills, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, driven and goal oriented, excellent English verbal and written skills, leadership skills as well as an interest in sales.
Compensation: This position will have a bonus related to successfully completing specific tasks assigned. This will be discussed further during the interview.
