WITN-TV is seeking qualified candidates for Production Assistant/Master Control Operator (PT) (job #1301). This is a temporary position in Chocowinity, NC, and the new studio in Greenville, NC.
Responsibilities include:
Operate studio cameras, maintain studio lighting. Successfully complete studio and character generator training program. Post materials to the witn.com website. On-air master control operator. Operation of satellite recording, transmitter and automated digital broadcast server operations. Videotape/server recording and playback, on-air switching and other duties necessary. You will be expected to work a rotating schedule including overnight, early morning and weekend shifts. Ability to learn new skills quickly. Some television experience preferred. Computer skills necessary. Must have quick reaction time and be a timely and responsible individual.
