DESCRIPTION
Summer Marketing Internship
Summer 2013, 32.5 hours per week
10 weeks – We are looking for this position to start in June 2013 until August 2013.
Two to three interns will be selected to work with the IES Marketing Department in Chicago to assist with the following projects:
DUTIES
- IES Abroad publications, including identifying content and editing documents
- Online advertising
- Implementation of Search Engine Optimization strategies
- Website content creation, including gathering photos for online galleries
- Support the Marketing Department with projects such as research and other marketing-related projects as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
- Related major in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations
- Excellent writing and editing skills. Web writing experience a plus
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and e-marketing a plus
- Strong computer skills
- Good organizational and project management skills
- Experience working, studying, or living in another country a definite plus

Interns will need to be able to locate a place of residence in Chicago. No additional monetary assistance will be given to those who need to find a sublet/temporary housing.
