You may have heard of The New York Intern Project that we have run in years past, but this year, we are upping the stakes and giving participants the chance to compete for a full-time position. One upcoming grad will receive a salaried full-time position and a $1,500 moving stipend to kick off a new career in NYC.
Here’s how it works: Upcoming and recent graduates dreaming of a career in public relations and social media will submit a creative video or photo entry to the contest web site on why they would make the ideal employee. Entrants need to get their network to vote. The top six semi-finalists will be selected via public voting on the contest website and will be interviewed via Skype for a spot in the finals
The top three finalists from the Skype interview round will be flown to New York (with all expenses paid) to meet the Affect team and have an in-person interview with our celebrity judges
After the finalists wow the judges, the lucky winner of the New York Job Project will be announced in the beginning of May
