Cox Media Group is thrilled to introduce the new Digital Talent Program. This exciting new program will help us identify and recruit a diverse group of up-and-coming talent with digital skills who will join our company nationwide. Through this program, CMG will provide four, one-year positions filled by recently graduated or May 2013 graduating students. This program is for those who are eligible to work in the U.S., a diverse candidate who have demonstrated superior academic achievement, are committed to a career in media, have a digital or media background and show promise of future achievement as a digital leader.
The first four program members will work at various CMG locations beginning in early June 2013 through May 31, 2014. Please feel free to share with members who are seniors in your respected organization, digital or media major/background and meet the additional requirements below. The application deadline is fast approaching – Sunday, March 31, 2013.
Application requirements include:
· Earned a minimum GPA of 3.5 overall in undergraduate major based on a 4-point scale or any scale analogous to a 4-point grading scale
· Current resume or Curriculum Vitale (CV)
· Completed online application
· Two letters of recommendation
· An original essay of 1,000 words or less, written by the applicant, that will clarify future career goals and that responds to the following points:
o What do you see as the future of the digital media business?
o Why are you interested in digital media as a profession?
o How will you use this experience to advance and further your career?
o Optional multi-media component that represents your work (e.g. video, website, etc.)
