Are you interested in a career in beauty? If so, StriVectin, a leading anti-aging skincare brand in America, is hiring a Summer Public Relations Intern for our New York City office.
Working in our growing, entrepreneurial company, the individual will have the opportunity to learn the day to day functions of a Public Relations team. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment with strong written and verbal communication skills and a desire to succeed in a Public Relations career.
Projects may include but are not limited to the following:
- Assist with logistics needs in relation to tradeshows and events
- Compile and distribute monthly clip reports
- Suggest pitch ideas based on observed trends
- Assemble and distribute all press kits and product mailings
Requirements:
- The candidate should be entering their Junior or Senior year of college working towards a Bachelor’s degree
- Public Relations/Communications major preferred but not required
- Experience or interest in the beauty industry a plus
- Previous office experience and/or relevant internships strongly preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office including working knowledge of Word, Excel and Powerpoint required
- Can-do attitude and willingness to pitch in and learn new skills
- Experience working with Lotus Notes preferred
- Ability to receive academic credit required
This is an unpaid, for-credit-only, internship program. Proof of credit eligibility and course enrollment from an accredited academic institution must be provided prior to start date. All internship offers are contingent upon receipt of school letter verifying credit eligibility .
