NC FAST Training Assistant, Office of NC DHHS NC FAST
Major(s): Web and Graphic Design, English, Communications, Education, Marketing, Computer Science or Business
Project Objective: Testing NC FAST training materials, assisting with training delivery operations and helping maintain our Moodle (learning management system) site by monitoring forums, assisting with class registration and rosters as well as compiling survey results. Preferred skills: Strong communication skills both written and verbal, experience giving and creating presentations in PowerPoint, easily picks up on new software application programs (and feels comfortable working with technology), and knowledge of Moodle and/or Robohelp is preferred. Also, the candidate should be flexible, able to multitask and demonstrate strong organization and time management skills. Background information on the NC FAST system: North Carolina has selected the Cúram Business Application Suite as the basis for developing NC FAST. Components of the case management system that will include both determination of eligibility for cash and cash-like benefits, as well as documentation of case details for child and adult services, child care and low income energy assistance programs.
Major Tasks: Candidate will receive NC FAST system training to enable them to navigate the NC FAST system, in order to more proficiently perform these duties.
Final Product or Outcome: NC FAST will become the new documentation standard that collects and processes data to track the work of social services and affiliated users
