Marketing interns will play a pivotal role in helping grow our marketing team and in developing and executing strategies to promote Crowdtap in the marketplace —through PR, content marketing, social marketing, and involvement in industry conferences and events. Throughout the summer you ’ll have an opportunity to take ownership over a number of individual and group projects, resulting in tangible outputs. Responsibilities • Create thought leadership content that reinforces Crowdtap°s leading position in the market • Develop marketing strategies that help win new clients and Crowdtap members • Play a key role in growing the marketing department as we scale • Research industry and market activity and post regularly on the Crowdtap blog • Develop stories for use in public relations outreach • Assist in management of advertising campaigns • Develop promotional sales materials, case studies, and white papers • Assist in managing sponsorships and attendance of industry events and conferences Desired Skills ” Experience: • Passion for social marketing technology • Strong communication skills; in particular, you MUST possess strong writing skills, particularly the ability to write articles and blog posts • Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment • Motivated, highly tenacious self-starter with a strong attention to detail • Strong understanding of social marketing platforms as they pertain to brand marketing • Basic design skills and at least a rudimentary understanding of Photoshop or similar design software Bonus: • Prior agency or brand marketing internship experience is a plus, but not required Education: Are currently earning a 4-year degree in entrepreneurship/marketing/advertising/communications or a related field from a reputable school.
