WEB DEVELOPMENT INTERN
American Junior Golf Association

We need a talented programmer to develop in ASP.net with C# on a full life-cycle scale. Familiarity with managing or tying in legacy applications (ASP classic) would be ideal. Requirements will be gathered from internal clients to build web-based projects. Experience with JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery and CSS are preferred but not required.
More important than experience or education, the ideal candidate will be a team player, a demonstrated hard worker, an effective communicator and a person who can dynamically work through in a variety of situations and solve problems each day.
Primary Responsiblities:
- Maintain existing and build new web applications
- Maintain and build Access databases
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred computer science/computer programming education or experience in programming
- Experience using ASP Classic, ASP.net, C#, HTML, CSS
- Trained in writing SQL queries
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
- Candidate should be organized, exhibit strong communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Works well under pressure and deadlines
- Excellent problem solver
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity or interest in: AJAX, jQuery, XML, Security, JavaScript, mobile app development and Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of development tools: SQL Server, Dreamweaver
- VBA and Access development
- Knowledge of networking, desktop support or network security would be a plus
