The Denver Center for the Performing Arts is accepting resumes for an intern to assist with growing our Tour Program. The Denver Center for the Performing Arts is an exhilarating mix of Broadway shows, Tony Award-winning professional theatre, backstage tours, acting instruction and breathtaking facilities. An internship at the Denver Center is frequently the passport to a successful career in the arts of other non-profit management/administration. Primary responsibilities:
- Creating and implementing a recruitment and training program for new Tour Ambassadors
- Assessing the current tour
- Adding audio visual and tactile items
- Designing and implementing a marketing campaign for the Tour Program
- Completing follow-up surveys with tour participants
Requirements include : A strong interest in theatre, Experience/education in the fields of communication and/or marketing, excellent attention to detail and creativity, great interpersonal skills, ability to operate Microsoft Windows XP systems
The internship is unpaid and interns should be prepared to work 15 – 20 hours a week , which can be staggered to meet the individual’s schedule. The Denver Center will work with educational bodies to ensure appropriate credit. An internship is expected to last a minimum of 3 months to fully involve the student in the works of the Center.
