Department Overview:
The Travel Operations Contact Center Reporting and Analytics internship position contributes by performing data collection and analysis on projects that require a specific quantitative skill set. In addition, the position provides resources to review advanced speech analytics and synthesizes multiple data sets to offer recommendations and solutions to business inquires and problems. The position enables the team to take on additional projects in regards to new processes and system expansion. As part of the Reporting and Analytics team, the position also is responsible for producing core team deliverables, which includes existing performance analysis and reporting to clients.
Responsibilities
Daily activities may include, but are not limited to: fulfill a diverse array of reporting requests which may be currently established reports, the creation of new reports or ad hoc reports using tools as Excel, SharePoint and BusinessObjects.
Provide analysis and validation of data anomalies to ensure data integrity, and effectively communicate findings to our partners in clear business terms. Collect reporting requirements to ensure reporting accuracy and understanding of the information.
Basic Qualifications
These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for this position:
Current Senior level or higher majoring in Industrial Engineering, Business, or equivalent analytical major
Minimum 2.0 GPA or higher in major
Demonstrated computer proficiency in Excel as well as all Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrated strong organizational and project management skills
Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven self-starter and ability to balance multiple priorities
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
Proven knowledge of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts products and services
Proven knowledge of BusinessObjects application
3.0 GPA or higher in major

Internship Eligibility:
Must be enrolled in a U. S. college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
Must be at least 18 years of age
Not have already completed two consecutive (spring/fall) College or Professional Internship Programs
Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Must provide full work availability
Must provide own transportation to/from work
Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months)
Program Length:
The approximate dates of this internship are June 2013 through January 2014. Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship.
Housing:
For positions located in Central Florida only , a limited amount of company-sponsored housing is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Participants in California are responsible for identifying their own housing accommodations.
