Fan Services Intern -Fall 2013 – New York Red Bulls (Harrison, NJ)
The New York Red Bulls Fan Services Department is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Fan Services Intern. A strong work ethic, ability to work effectively with others, and problem solving are a few of the key characteristics required. Candidates may be required to work all Red Bulls regular season and playoff (if applicable) home matches and any other Red Bull Arena events. THIS IS AN UNPAID INTERNSHIP AND IS FOR COLLEGE CREDIT ONLY. PROOF OF COLLEGE CREDIT IS REQUIRED TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE PROGRAM.
• Work with Fan Services team on production and distribution of 2013 season ticket packages
• Assist with Guest Services during all Red Bull Arena matches
• Administer ticket inventory through our cutting-edge ticket management systems (Audience View & Fortress)
• Respond to fan inquiries via telephone and email
• Assist our sales staff & ticketing operations team with support, projects and operation aid during game days
• Various administrative duties as requested
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some form or other combination of skills and abilities.
Qualification Standards:
• Education: College students preferred.
• Technology: Must be able to work with Microsoft Office
• Experience: Knowledge of and/or enthusiasm for soccer, the New York Red Bulls/MLS, and professional sports a plus
• Languages: Knowledge of Spanish or other foreign language is a plus
• Work Schedule: Must be available to work during regular business hours, and all Red Bull Arena events (including weekends and holidays).
