A video journalist with CNN in Atlanta is working on a project to identify potential young political contributors. CNN is looking for people between the ages of 18 and 24 who are interested in participating of a CNN initiative to capture the opinions of the Y generation on current events.
Ideally, young students who can efficiently and concisely articulate their opinions verbally on the day’s trending topics; for example, Zimmerman’s trial verdict, the political turmoil in Egypt or the Rolling Stone’s Dzhokhar Tsarnaev cover. This is an unpaid, recurring opportunity, but could provide students with a national outlet to voice their perspectives.
