Oakland University, a NCAA Division I member of the Horizon League in Rochester, MI is seeking candidates for an internship in Facilities and Event Management. Job responsibilities include the following: Facility Management: Assist in the supervision of all Varsity Athletic Facilities. Duties include daily inspection of facilities; reporting and follow-up to all maintenance and custodial requests.Event Management: Assist in the set up, breakdown and game operations for all home contests and facility rentals; contact visiting teams and officials prior to home events; communicate with maintenance, custodial and grounds crew; assist in the scheduling of practice and game times; train, supervise and manage payroll for a large student event staff
