Octagon – McLean, VA
The Marketing Internship in our Football division will provide you with hands-on experience in the way we recruit new clients and market our current clients. This is a great opportunity for the passionate, hardworking and focused undergraduate or graduate student who is interested in a career in Sports Marketing. Throughout the course of the internship, you will work closely with one of our agents and assist in a variety of challenging and interesting projects. Duties will include market research and analysis, assisting with the recruitment process of new clients, updating bios and player stats, preparing for upcoming PR events for current clients, as well as general office and administrative duties.
The position is located in our McLean, VA headquarters, and can be a part-time or full-time. In order to be considered for this unpaid internship, you must be able to receive academic credit, and provide proof of credit.
Requirements:
- Must receive college credit (no exceptions)
- Polished communication skills, both written and oral
- Extremely organized and able to multi-task
- Ability to work as a part of a team, demonstrate initiative, but also solve problems independently
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and knows their way around the internet
- Previous experience in marketing a plus
