PUBLIC RELATIONS INTERN

Bloomingdale’s Atlanta is seeking Public Relations Interns for the summer and fall semester to provide support for the Public Relations Department. Daily job functions include: research, monthly calendar and web postings, support with special events, updating media distribution lists, maintaining media libraries, media tracking, develop and maintain schedule of editorial fashion/event sections in key publications, and administrative office duties.
Position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, extreme detail orientation, high energy and enthusiasm combined with a positive attitude. Candidates should be of Jr/Sr status with major coursework towards a degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Mass Communications or Business. All interns MUST receive educational credit and will be asked to complete an on-site personal qualification test. Portfolios brought to the interview are a plus.
