We are looking for an Associate Account Executive with 1-2 years of public relations or journalistic experience, with a minimum of 1 year working at a PR Firm or its equivalent and experience in technology industries. Someone who enjoys working with a team, and is looking to play a critical role in moving their clients’ business forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop concepts and pitch stories to relevant media
  • Successfully place stories in technology trade publications and websites
  • Monitor and participate in social media groups relevant to technology topics
  • Recognize PR opportunities and connect with media, bloggers, and industry analysts
  • Conduct industry and competitor research and apply learnings to make client relevant in their industry dialogue
  • Conceptualize and help direct development of multi-media story support including video case studies, animations, graphics and product demonstrations
  • Develop press releases, case studies, contributed articles and blog posts
  • Support and attend technology industry conferences and tradeshows

Requirements:

  • Demonstrative media relations success
  • Social media and social marketing acumen
  • Strong verbal and written communications
  • Must understand and work well with the media
  • Excellent organization/project mgmt skills
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, initiative and problem-solving ability
  • Solid experience and comfort ability doing industry and competitive research/monitoring
  • Excellent relationship building amongst peers, clients and media professionals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment
  • Ability to work independently but within a team-based, collaborative environment
  • Bachelors Degree and/or Masters Degree
  • Minimum of one year of agency experience
