Merchandising, Men’s Apparel
Ever wonder how a brand stays on trend yet true to its DNA? An internship with the Men’s Apparel Merchandising team will provide insight into how merchandising plans are created and utilized to move the business forward. This team liaises between various cross-functional partners, including Design, Production, Sales, and Planning to analyze the brand’s past and current business strategies, and researches upcoming trends to support their merchandising plan. The plan provides a detailed roadmap of the styles the Design team will need to develop each season. In this internship, you will learn how the team executes the tasks necessary for achieving seasonal merchandising goals.

fit for us: Your education may include Fashion Merchandising or a related area of study You are detail oriented, accurate, flexible, organized, and able to multitask You are proficient in Microsoft Excel You are creative and have a strong understanding of the Kenneth Cole Productions brand aesthetic An internship fit f or you:
- Supporting the Merchandising team by researching trends using various trend forecasting websites
- Assisting the team by distributing and updating key merchandising documents including line plans, salesman sample sending charts, sample logs, and prototype charts
- Learning how to work with line sheets in order to understand how they are used during market weeks as a selling took for our sales teams and buyers
- Providing assistance in pre-market preparation for showroom appointments
