The 7th Chamber is an award winning social media agency that works with brands and agencies to execute native-advertising campaigns that blur the boundaries between paid, earned and owned media. Our mission is to improve the way content creators match eyeballs with their content and enable brands to market themselves without interrupting consumer experiences with explicit advertising. We spend our days thinking about, and developing solutions for, the challenges associated with the planning, delivery and management of digital content distribution.
As PR Intern, you will be responsible for all outbound and inbound marketing activities for our products and services. You will create compelling press and marketing articles and distribute them to blogs and publications.
Responsibilities:
- Create regular marketing activities
- Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products and services in the market
- Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales collateral that supports the selling process of our products
- Market intelligence –gather information in the social media market place and keep all staff up to date on social media news
Requirements:
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Proof of ability to generate compelling marketing assets including white papers, sales collateral and go-to-market launch assets, etc…
- Knowledge of digital media, advertising and Internet industries
- Previous experience in writing press releases
- Having your own blog and advantage
- Ability to work in teams, influence and disagree agreeably with management, colleagues and third parties
- Bonus points for:
―MBA or equivalent experience
―Contributions to industry leading publications and conferences
―Passion for conversion optimization and experiment design
