We have an exciting opportunity for an assistant or intern to be the right hand of the agency owner, no experience needed – we will train the right person. This position is perfect for someone with a desire to quickly gain experience in many aspects of the advertising business.
We are a small locally owned & operated Raleigh advertising agency. Our company is a full service agency with some exclusive services in direct mail, radio, TV, mobile apps and website development. We have an excellent reputation and a strong, loyal customer base.

You will work alongside the agency owner on everything he needs to manage his clients and projects. Being a small agency, the owner does a lot of the work himself and the assistant/intern will be trained to be with and assist the owner in everything he does, including but not limited to: visit clients and prospects, take notes, present and review artwork, project schedules, marketing programs, update contact and project databases, issue meeting summaries, writing emails, scripts, news releases, social media posts, video editing, copy editing, graphics (adobe creative suite), website updating, organizing office and vehicle. The environment is young, fast-paced and fun, and sometimes chaotic. We will train the right person; if you have skills in these areas that is a plus.
The right candidate will be organized, responsible, and calm under pressure. Some knowledge or skills in the relevant areas mentioned above would be desirable but not critical. He or she will be willing to work flexible hours including in the evening or occasional weekend with the owner at events or on time sensitive projects. The right personality is more important than relevant experience. You must currently live in Raleigh, must be available to start immediately. This position is typically temporary and lasts up to six months after which, if the selected candidate demonstrates strong capability and learns about the business, they are eligible for advancement with increased responsibilities in account or creative services.
