Summary of Internship:
Assist with the development of on- air promotion/partnership proposals and recaps for nationally syndicated radio shows including On Air with Ryan Seacrest, Elvis Duran and the Morning Show, Sixx Sense with Nikki Sixx, The Bob and Tom Show and others.
Participate in promotions meetings with show producers, contribute ideas and take notes.
Assist with sweepstakes prize fulfillment: contact winners, distribute prizes, keep databases, learn to process winner paperwork.
Assist in writing digital copy for sweepstakes entry pages and on-air sweepstakes copy for show producers.
Assist with event planning for the CMA Awards Remote Broadcast (tasks and responsibilities based on level of event knowledge).
Required Skills
Requirements:
Must be skilled in Word, Excel and especially Power Point.
Preferred interest and background in marketing, mass communications.
Ability to work with confidential material.
Must be enrolled full time in an accredited college/university and receive college credit for the internship experience.
