CetraRuddy is a 25-year old award winning firm of architecture and interiors, designs both large scale and small scale work for our clients. Throughout our 60 person practice, we have been designing new construction and renovation work for developers and owners on both modern buildings and historic landmarks.
Internship Description
We are seeking a Marketing/Graphic Design Intern who will work in a creative and collegiate environment working closely with the principals.
The marketing intern will gain industry experience by assisting with the following:
- Events, Conferences, Awards – research awards and assist in preparation of their submissions.
- Presentation Development – graphic and image layouts
- Brochure Development – text editing, resize, PhotoShop images, layout, binding
- Marketing Materials – update/organize/create/ newsletters, edit architectural drawings and diagrams, project pages and resumes
- Social Networking – keep Twitter, Archinect, Architizer, etc. current
- Public Relations – research press and post latest news
Learning outcomes will include: marketing of a design firm, PR exposure, business development exposure, as well as usable portfolio materials in all media. The intern will report to the Marketing Coordinator.
Requirements
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent graphic sensibility and technical knowledge
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Highly organized, detail oriented and quality conscious
- Responsive and confident multi-tasker able to handle multiple deadlines and accommodate shifting priorities
- Punctual, diligent and professional
- Exhibit a “can-do” attitude and willing to lead and follow as a team player
Hours and Pay
Part-time or full-time internships, 16-20 hours minimum per week. 3 months minimum. 4-6 months preferred. Compensation or Academic credit available. We do not provide Visa sponsorship.
