The Building Construction Products (BCP) Division is a global division of Caterpillar, Inc. that employs several thousand

RESPONSIBILITIES

This position serves as a HR Representative with responsibilities for

coordinating and/or implementing specific strategies, projects and initiatives focused for the Clayton HR team.

The incumbent will provide communications assistance for the Clayton / CMDC facilities. The incumbent will gain an understanding of customer needs and will become increasingly familiar with the company’s processes, systems and methodologies. The position manages the completion of its own work assignments and coordinates work with others. Generally resolves issues by following departmental guidelines or applying a solution through a standard approach to best serve customers. Follows established procedures. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.

Qualifications

THIS IS AN INTERNSHIP POSITION AND ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE REGISTERED AS FULL TIME STUDENTS TO

APPLY.

We are seeking full-time students pursuing a Bachelor Science degree in any of the following business related fields or disciplines: Human Resources, Communications, Business Administration/Management or related course work.

Students should possess a minimum GPA of 2.8.

Candidates must possess skills related to creating and implementing communication strategies, presentations and possess knowledge of multiple PC-based applications.
