As part of the Communications Leadership Development Program (CLDP), you’ll play an integral role driving success – for our country, our customer, our company and yourself.
The CLDP is an intensive two-year rotational program that gives participants experience in four facets of communication: media relations, marketing, employee communications and community relations.
How does it work? Participants spend one year focused on employee communications and community relations – followed by a rotation at a different business area focused on marketing and media relations.

Lockheed Martin begins its CLDP recruiting process in the fall of each year. After an initial interview, a small number of selected candidates will advance to a final-round hiring event in the metropolitan DC area. Those hired will begin employment in the summer.
