The Time Warner Cable Media Corporate office currently seeks a Fall Event Planning/PR Marketing Intern for our Marketing Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
Essential Job Functions:
– Assist in day to day marketing execution
– Assist with PR and Event planning
– Proof and edit creative materials
Job Requirements:
– Mastery of MS PowerPoint, Excel, MS Word
– Web savvy with proven internet research experience
– Proven interest in Event Marketing/PR/Advertising
– Excellent communication and listening ability
– Self-driven, motivated and proactive
– Ability to multitask & extend yourself beyond your comfort zone
– Detail mastery
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience or class work in Marketing, Promotions or Advertising
– Understanding of basic marketing principles, theories and concepts
– Excellent spelling, grammar and editing ability
– Understanding of social media, trends and popular culture
– Web, mobile and technology savvy
Education and Experience:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or Master’s degree (M.A. or M.S.).
