SheSpeaks is an influencer marketing platform. We are a fast-paced, creative and entrepreneurial organization working with an exciting line up of new and leading brands including American Express, P&G, L’Oreal and occasionally some great star talent too! We deliver compelling marketing programs for our clients which include sampling new products to some of our 200,000 community members, activating influential bloggers, twitter events, social media networking, research studies and in-person events.
The Social Media Marketing Intern will focus on one or more of the following key business areas:
- Develop and execute member communications
- Support the Program Team to execute client programs & client communications
- Compile and analyze program results for client reports
- Assist with influencers & Blogger Society growth and management
- Assist with social media communications and planning
- Research competitor and social media trends and identify industry best practices
- Participate in internal team meetings and client meetings
Qualifications
The Social Media Marketing Intern must be a self-starter; possess an entrepreneurial spirit needed to work within a fast-paced, start-up environment; demonstrate maturity, poise and good humor; and have the ability to work well independently and within a team.
Additional qualifications include: Work experience or coursework focus in marketing, social media strategy or related field
- Demonstrated consumer-facing writing ability
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities at once
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge in social media and social engagement tactics
- Flexibility to work on a variety of projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Compensation: Course credit, if available, or a modest stipend for travel
Timing: Internships open for immediate start date, or for upcoming semesters
