Client Services Intern – Spring Semester Capstrat, Inc. – Raleigh, NC

Overview:
Capstrat is seeking a highly motivated Client Services Intern (Spring Semester) to join our growing team. This role will support colleagues in the department on a variety of public relations, marketing and public affairs projects. The intern must be able to work effectively with a variety of account service staff within a specific set of accounts.

Must have excellent written and oral communications skills and keep current on the rapid shift in trends and social environments.

Strong time management and organizational skills required in order to multitask in a work environment where priorities can change quickly.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct media and industry research
• Write and proof content for various marketing and PR collateral including news releases, articles and white papers
• Develop and pitch news stories to reporters
• Contribute to brainstorms and communications plans
• Participate in trainings and meetings
• Support new business efforts

Qualifications:

• Enrolled in a Undergraduate degree program or greater in journalism, public relations, political science, marketing communications or related field
• Superior written and oral communications skills, strong organizational skills and proven project management capability
• Relevant prior job or internship experience
