INTERNSHIP: Community Relations Soring 2014 – New York Islanders Hockey Club (Uniondale, NY)
The Islanders Community Relations department acts as a liaison between the Islanders and the Long Island community. Interns entering into this department will participate in planning and hosting events throughout Long Island as part of our grassroots marketing campaigns. These events could include appearances from players, the Ice Girls and our mascot, Sparky. Interns will also assist with charitable in-kind donation requests, fulfillment of New York Islanders Kids Club and help the CR department on game nights. This will include Islanders Children’s Foundation fundraising. Interns will also help assist at Islanders Children’s Foundation events including the Islanders Golf Outing.
