Blizzard is seeking a communications intern to join the team for summer 2014. The communications intern will manage logistics for communications activities and events, and support specific collateral development as needed. The intern will maintain Blizzard Entertainment communications mailboxes and mailing lists, internal communications intranet pages, and write and post content for the company news portal and other vehicles as needed.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, extremely detail-oriented, and possesses excellent administrative skills with a high interest in communications and execution of communications projects using internal tools.
Level Requirements
Currently pursuing a degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) and planning to return to school following the internship
Passion for technology and gaming
Basic familiarity with Blizzard games, products, and game services
Solid written and verbal communications skills
Able to work well with individuals in multiple departments
Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Able to act quickly, competently, and confidently
Able to use discretion when presented with sensitive information or confidential issues
Recommended Talents
Majoring in a related field (communications, English, journalism, etc.)
Passion for and in-depth knowledge of Blizzard games, products, and services
Knowledge of or experience using Microsoft SharePoint
