Internship Description:
The intern will work directly under the Executive Producer of In-Game Entertainment and assist in the day-to-day operations of the production team for the Myrtle Beach franchise. Off-season activities include script writing, video shooting, editing, graphic design, media archiving, and assisting in off-site productions. In-season activities include the additional responsibilities of organizing and planning game-day events as well as participating in game-day productions. Interns will also work hand-in-hand with the entire front office staff in order to enhance fan experience at the ballpark.
Benefits:
The intern will learn all aspects of game-day productions and become familiar with production software in non-linear editing and graphic design. Interns will also learn to work cooperatively in a busy and deadline driven environment, while enjoying the excitement of working within a professional sports organization.
Required Skills:
-Candidates must be enthusiastic about sports and have a general understanding of baseball.
-Previous editing and video/audio experience
-Must be well organized and must have the ability to work with others
-Creativity for commercial/video production
-Adobe Photoshop experience
-Camera operations
Specific Expectations:
Interns will be required to work long hours and weekends. Interns will be expected to help out in all areas of our organization.
Pay:
$750.00/month
Start Date: March 1st
End Date: Early September
